Why is it that people believe whatever comes through as email, when these email’s have no reference to the facts stated in the email. Subsequently, they are forwarded as if it was the "gospel" truth.

Okay, let us move ahead to February 26, 1993.
The president is Bill Clinton (1993 - 2001) He is in his 2nd month as president.

The World Trade Center was bombed by Terrorists with the knowledge, help and cooperation of our own FBI.
6 people were killed and over 1,000 injured.

In the course of the trial it was revealed that the FBI had an informant, an Egyptian man named Emad Salem, who was involved with the bombing conspiracy. Salem claims to have informed the FBI of the plot to bomb the towers as early as February 6, 1992, information he was privy to possibly because he himself initiated the plot. Salem's role as informant allowed the FBI to quickly pinpoint the conspirators out of the hundreds of possible suspects.

Salem asserted that the original FBI plan was to supply the plotters with a harmless powder instead of actual explosive to build their bomb, but that an FBI supervisor decided that a real bomb should be constructed instead. Salem substantiated his claims with hundreds of hours of secretly-recorded conversations with his FBI handlers, made during discussions held after the bombings.

Salem said he wished to complain to FBI headquarters in Washington about the failure to prevent the bombing despite foreknowledge, but was dissuaded from doing so by the New York FBI office. The FBI has never contradicted Salem's account.

It was learned by all involved in the investigation that it was the goal of the terrorists headed by Bin Laden to

"Take down the World Trade Center Towers" at all costs.

My question is this: Why were the people at the FBI never indicted on conspiracy charges and sent to jail? Or even at least fired. Because there is no law against being stupid and arrogant?

So now lets move ahead to the year 2001.

The President is George W. Bush. (2001 - present) He is 9 months into his presidency. In a morning briefing by the CIA, it is presented to the President that Terrorists are planning an attack on the U.S.

After the 9/11 bombings, the President and his advisor Ms. Rice, acknowledges that they read the briefing report, but said it did not specify what the target would be.

(Were these people out in space in 1993?) Bush on Mars and Rice on Venus?

They were told by the Director of security for a very large tenant of the WTC, that terrorists were going to take down the WTC by flying a plane into the towers, to fulfill the goal that they started in 1993. The FBI ignored his warning. They laughed and said that nobody would kill themselves in order to destroy the Towers.

Apparently, nobody at the FBI was watching the evening news which reported nightly that Palestinian’s were strapping explosives to their bodies and killing a few Israelis every day or so in restaurants and buses.

Nor, apparently, were Bush, The POTUS, or Ms. Rice.

(As it was learned after the Katrina disaster, that he really does not watch the news on TV, so his staff had to prepare a DVD of news broadcasts and show it to him so he could learn what was going on in New Orleans).

The man who advised the FBI about the forthcoming attack, then proceeded to take measures to protect the thousands of employees of his firm by training them on evacuating the building. He ran drills on a monthly basis, to the point the employees were so upset with his disrupting their work that they wanted him fired.

On 9/11, when the planes hit the tower, ALL of the employees of the firm were prepared and evacuated the WTC according to plan. Only one person from the firm was killed. The security chief who put the plan in effect, because he went back into the building to make sure everyone had gotten out safely.

The Man:

Rick Rescorla

He is responsible for saving over 3,800 people on 9/11 - A real Hero in my book.

Imagine the death toll if it were not for this hero.

On 9/12/2005 the History Channel broadcast a program entitled "The man who predicted 9/11". The History channel rebroadcasts these programs often, so look for it.

Why Oh Why was Rick not in charge of the FBI?? There's that 20/20 Hind sight again, right?

As a result of this disaster, which could have been prevented had the FBI had any body with an ounce of brains in charge. We are now engaged in what everyone calls the Iraqi "WAR". Bush claims that Saddam was behind the 9/11 attacks, in spite of the fact that most of the terrorists were from Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

It is not a "WAR".

I refer you to the United States Constitution, Article 1, section 8, which states that Congress has the authority to declare war. It says nothing about the President being able to declare "WAR", without the approval of Congress.

Congress never declared the Korean or Vietnam debacles as "WARS".

Over 54,000 Americans killed in Korea, not including the wounded. (President was Truman 1945-1953)
Over 58,000 Americans killed in Vietnam, not including the wounded. Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon).

112,000 American men and women killed in foreign lands, All without a declaration of War by Congress.

With regard to Iraq, the simple fact is that the United States invaded a sovereign nation, and a member of the United Nations, (admitted 21 Dec. 1945), without provocation, and without the approval of the United Nations. After several attempts to persuade the U.N. to sanction the invasion, The POTUS decided to go it alone, and against the advice of the Secretary of State, Colon Powell, former chief of staff (You break it, you own it); as well as the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, who went on record as saying we were not equipped, nor did we have the manpower to invade a country the size of Iraq. He was rewarded for his honest and blunt testimony by being politically destroyed by The POTUS. (As are all people who have the audacity to oppose or speak out against him and his actions and the Iraq Debacle / Quagmire.)

The POTUS decided to invaded Iraq because Saddam Hussein was an evil man and had Weapons of Mass Destruction. Forget not that prior to the invasion of Iraq, George W. Bush is on record as saying that "Saddam tried to kill my Daddy". So this was payback to Saddam, but thousands of children are now actually without their "Daddys".

But, as Bush was told prior to the invasion, Iraq did not have any WMD’s. After the invasion, when no weapons could be found, he declared that the mission was to bring democracy to the people of Iraq.

So what about the WMD’s?

Was that some fancy footwork, or what?

Yet, as of today, 1/16/06, 35% of the country favor our involvement in Iraq. I assume they do not have any loved ones in the Military. Of course that means that 2/3 of the country is against it. And the National Guard is is Iraq because, as warned prior to the invasion, we did not have the manpower to invade Iraq. Besides, they are the National Guard, not the International Guard. They are given the duty and responsibility to guard this country, not invade and occupy other countries. Oh, sure, it was a preemptive strike, least Iraq invade the U.S.

Based on Bush’s contentions about WMD's, wouldn't China would have the right to invade this country because we have WMD’s. Who has more WMD’s than this country?
What is that you say? We would never use them against any nation. Well we did, twice, to end WW II. And the only nation in history to do so.

Speaking of WW II, it is apparent that Mr. Bush did not study the attack on Pearl Harbor. It was done as a surprise attack and was successful. They did not give us six months warning like Mr. Bush gave Iraq. Saddam had six months to hide whatever he did not want us to find.

It appears that Mr. Bush does not have an exit strategy for Iraq like he did for himself for getting out of Vietnam. And Mr. Cheney, an advocate of the invasion of Iraq, who had 5 deferments to avoid going to Vietnam.

Mr. Bush has declared that IRAQ is a "Noble war". If it is so noble, why not send his twin girls, and nephews and nieces over there to ride shot gun in the under-equipped vehicles?

Mr. Bush condemns the people of Iraq for fighting against the destruction and invasion of their country.

But what if some country like China were to invade Texas? (They do have a lot of Oil and refineries there, and good looking women!). Would the Texan’s run out to meet the Chinese soldiers with flowers and wine? Kisses and hugs? Or would they be doing what the Iraqi’s are doing, shooting and killing them with bombs?

When Russia invaded countries to spread Communism, they were the aggressors and a threat to world peace. When they invaded Afghanistan, The U.S. supplied the Taliban with weapons to fight the Russian invaders. Now we have invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, destroyed the Teliban who we armed (there's that 20/20 thing again), but we are not the aggressors, just trying to shove our political beliefs down some other peoples throats. The oil has nothing to do with it. Then why did we not invade North Korea who admits to having and working on Nuclear weapons?

And why do we shell so much money out to the military, when they have been unable to find and kill one man? It's been over four years since 9/11, yet we are unable to find this one Terrorist.

And why are we shelling out hundreds of Billions of dollars we do "not have", to pay for the democracy we are supposedly bringing to Iraq when they are sitting on the second largest oil reserves in the world? We are over 8.1 Trillion dollars in debt ($8,100,000,000,000.00). We owe a great deal of it to China. (Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer).

Since just months before Bush took over as president, the debt was, on 09/30/2000, $5,674,178,209,886.86. Those Texan's really know how to spend money, and start Non-"Wars". Johnson - Vietnam, George H. W. Bush - Desert Storm, George W. Bush - Iraqi WMD's. We need to stop electing those people from Texas.

Since George has been office, the National Debt has risen by almost 2 and 1/2 Trillion dollars.

And how does POTUS reward former POW's of Desert Storm who won a judgement against Saddam Hussein? As reported by 60 minutes, he moved Iraqi money that had been frozen into the U.S. Treasury so that the former POW's could not attach it. Ref: 60 Minute Article.

So, is Al Gore responsible for the current debacle we are in, with thousands of our men and women being killed and maimed? Billions of our dollars being squandered on a debacle / quandary we cannot figure how to get out of? Was he responsible for the ultimate destruction of the WTC as the HOAX E-MAIL implies???? Who was in charge on 9/11?

Let's pin the poor response of FEMA on him too while we are at it. We need someone to blame, why not the guy who was declared the loser of the election by the U.S. Supreme court in 2000.

When these email’s come into your computer, give some thought as to who is originating these things. Remember there are more than one version of a situation. The writer never gave any reference as to the so called facts. Their only goal is to avert your attention to the real facts, and the otherside of the coin. They tug at your heartstrings by showing pictures of the WTC.

But no references to facts!!

But the basic fact is that it is a __HOAX EMAIL__, sent to spread false information to gullible people who
believe everything that comes thru as email as if it was "FACT", when it is almost always B.S.

When you read the Hoax email with all the pictures of the WTC, remember who was in charge then, and when we illegally invaded Iraq, killing, according to Bush, "30,000 Iraqis, more or less.
Anyone believe that figure? I don't. More like 300,000 - more or less.
